Ereshkigal was meant to be a sacrificial host to the deity of the same name. An ancient being that, if legends are true, was the queen of the underworld. The binding spells woven into the tattoos visible on her body suggest that the transfer of energy should have been permanent, however the ritual was interrupted, and as a result she remembers her true name and has inherited a vast amount of power. How or why this happened is known only by her and the goddess Iset.

It should be noted that she prefers to be called Ere (pronounced Air-ee) and in several cases has injured TAB Soldiers that have deliberately ignored her request.

Ere and Iset run The Hangnail’s Haven together and protect The Myriad Roots (unconfirmed). It’s said that Ere is the first and only apprentice of Iset, who is Threat Level: Deity.

*Note: It must be reiterated, calling her anything but her preferred name will likely result in serious injury or death.

  • Starburst Marbles: Compressed balls of energy with many applications which include-

    • Magic Amplification catalysts

    • Summoning Stones

    • Spell projectiles

    • Marble (A normal marble)

  • Binding Mask: Mask used to temporarily transfer the power, abilities, or consciousness of a fallen Adept or Celestial to the wearer. When combined with special binding tattoos the effects can be permanent.

  • Spellbinding: The ability to bind energies to an object, person, or creature. Used primarily to create her Starburst Marbles, Ere is able to attach elements and spells to things and give simple activation conditions.
